One of the creations of Sony that is waiting to hit the market is the Sony Ericsson W508a. It is a music phone that is equipped with interactive technology such as Shake and Gesture control, TrackID and SenseMe. This innovative product allows users to set the shuffle function or increase the volume simply with a shake of the wrist or mute the volume with just a sweep of the hand. The SensMe feature helps the user to set the music according to the mood. TrackID will help the user to trace unknown songs at the time of listening to the FM radio station. When the track ID is fed with recordings of a song it will return the name, album and artist within a few seconds. The phone is equipped with a FM radio and built-in MP3 player. The music can be adjusted simply by moving the phone in different directions.

 

There is a 3.2-megapixel camera equipped with Flash as well as 3x zoom in the phone. There is a Photo Fix to edit the images directly on the mobile. There is also geo tagging to enable the user to stamp the location where the photo was taken. A host of other features are also present in the phone including Picture Blogging, Photo Feeds and Video Blogging. Also news feeds and websites can be accessed within seconds. The phone also offers high speed internet that helps download big files as well as email attachments very fast. There is also a 1 GB M2 card that is made available to the users. The Sony Ericsson W705a is a stylish and elegant device that is slated to be released in 2009. Sony Ericsson’s new prototype will come ready with premium headphones in the purchase package to complete the music experience. Built into the navigation pads are keys controlling media functions such as fast forward, back, play and pause. The built in camera of the Sony Ericsson W902i will also not disappoint users with an outstanding 5.0 Megapixel to be viewed on the scratch resistant, 2.2 inch QVGA mineral glass screen.

 

Functions of the phone camera include a zoom up to 16 X the standard view, integrated flash, auto-focus, Picture Blogging and lots more. 25MB internal memory and a 8GB supported Memory Stick Micro (M2) card will have you uploaded your entire collection with storage to spare, as the W902i can support some 8000 tracks. If you feel that this isn’t enough, you can always tune in to your favourite news or radio station and get the latest updates on subjects of your interest.

 

Networks that the W902i runs on include GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and UMTS 2100 and may vary depending on where you purchase the prototype.
