Sanyo Katana LX

Elegant-looking mobile phones are not only used by those who are in the corporate environment but also for the stylish mobile phone lovers as well as gadget freaks. The Katana series from Sanyo were created way back in 2006 so that Sprint can offer its customers a flashy-looking phone that has all the features that they need. The Sanyo Katana LX is a slim mobile phone that has a sleek finish, making it look more of a sophisticated gadget than a phone.

What?s different in Katana LX is that it has an OLED translucent display which the other Katana models do not have. And although it is completely different compared to the other Katanas released by Sanyo, it is still slim and light with a weight of 3.4 ounces only. Moreover, it also has a reflective surface that users can even use it as a mirror.

This clamshell mobile phone has a built-in VGA camera that would only allow you to take still photos not videos. You can use these photos to be your wallpaper or your phone?s screensaver. It can also be shared to another mobile device through the use of the Bluetooth wireless technology.

The World Wide Web is also within reach with the Sanyo Katana LX. Check your emails or browse the internet using your Katana LX wherever you go. And with the use of the Sprint Navigation, GPS is accessible in this mobile phone as well.

There are three colors to choose from including Liquid Graphite, Pacific Blue and Elegant Pink.

Sanyo MM-9000

The MM-9000 is one of the first phones compatible with the new EV-DO broadband Sprint Power Vision Network and that supports Sprint’s new Music Store. That’s a match made in heaven, because not only do you get access to a six-digit selection of songs, you get them fast. Broadband speed also benefits video buffs, who can use the MM-9000 to watch Sprint TV.

If you want to play content creator, the MM-9000 features a 1.3-megapixel camera that supports videos up to 30-seconds long. Whatever the source, videos look sharp on the 1.28 x 1.7-inch, 260,000-color internal display. The MM-9000 lists for $379, but recent promotions have cut it to $229 with a two-year contract (leaving plenty of money for downloading songs).

The phone comes with tropical and hip hop themes preloaded. Several other themes are available for free download and I am sure Sprint will sell you others if you ask nicely.
