The Samsung S8300 is commonly referred to as the UltraTOUCH as well as Samsung GT-8300. The product is expected to be in the markets by the second quarter of 2009. The phone has an eight megapixel camera equipped with a slide-out numeric pad. The name “Tocco” has been used from Samsung F480 but it is a much improved phone.

 

In the recent days almost all the touchscreen phones look like the other. However this phone has a design that gives a unique look to the mobile and is far removed from the other such mobiles in the market. The mobile has an 8 megapixel camera together with dual autofocus, face detection, LED flash, and geotagging that uses the built-in GPS of the device. The phone is enabled to record videos at 640 x 480 pixels at 30 frames every second.

 

The mobile has a 2.8″ display. It takes the help of Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode technology that helps to bring a clear and bright display. The mobile’s user interface is upgraded to TouchWiz 1.5 that allows the consumers to control the mobile easily. There is also the GPS that is present in the mobile and it helps in navigation.

 

One of the notable features of the phone is the multimedia support. The device is equipped to playback AAC, WMA audio and MP3 and also WMV, DivX, XviD, H.263, MPEG4 and H.264 movies. Other features of the phone include video editing, and photo blogging. There is a 75 MB internal memory in the mobile that can be extended to 16GB. The phone combines impressive looks and great features and is one of the most awaited phones in the market.

Another clamshell device has been released by Samsung. And this time, the mobile phone is specially made to work with AT&T.

Sometimes, the functionality of the mobile phone suffers if you buy a unit that it not expensive. However, with the Samsung A227, you get great mobile phone value as well functionality. And since bridging communication is the primary role of mobile phones, the Samsung A227 allows you to chat with your online contacts through its instant messaging capabilities especially if you are using Yahoo Messenger, AOL, or Windows Live.

The internet is also within reach with the Samsung A227. Aside from checking your e-mails on your Yahoo, AOL, or Windows Live account, you can also know the current weather reports, movie listings, and the recent team scores with just a click of a button. As for messaging, the Samsung A227 allows you to send SMS, MMS as well as EMS.

If not much in use, the Samsung A227 can last up to 380 minutes. However, if the device is mostly used to make voice calls, expect to charge your phone after 4 hours.

Unfortunately, the Samsung A227 does not have a built-in camera nor supports audio formats. This phone is just advisable for those who want to have a mobile phone that can access the internet at a cheap price. And since it does not support videos, still photos, and music on the go, the memory of the Samsung A227 is only 32 MB and can no longer be expanded.
