T-mobile is lucky to have the Samsung T229 included in their list of mobile devices. Although the device is not as extravagant-looking like the other mobile phones in the market, the Samsung T229 is the device for you if you want something that can give the basic needs in a mobile phone and more.

The Samsung T229 supports both SMS as well as MMS. But it also allows the users to send instant messages using IM programs that they are currently using such as the ICQ, Windows Live, AOL, and Yahoo Messenger. The users can also immediately keep in touch with their favorite contacts using T-mobile?s program called MyFaves.

And since nowadays, a mobile phone can never be called a mobile phone if it does not have a built-in camera, the Samsung T229 has included a VGA camera that can be zoomed up to 4 times. These photos can be instantly shared with your friends and families though the Wireless Village. You can simply share the photos as is or you can have it sent as an Audio Postcard.

The Bluetooth technology integrated in the Samsung T229 also allows the users to have a hands-free access to their headsets as well as car kits. Other features of the Samsung T229 include a speakerphone, a voice recorder, calendar, calculator, and notepad. This clamshell mobile phone has a battery that can last for up to 6 hours when used for voice calls. Samsung T229 is the excellent choice when you want a cheap and functional mobile phone at the same time.

Another clamshell device has been released by Samsung. And this time, the mobile phone is specially made to work with AT&T.

Sometimes, the functionality of the mobile phone suffers if you buy a unit that it not expensive. However, with the Samsung A227, you get great mobile phone value as well functionality. And since bridging communication is the primary role of mobile phones, the Samsung A227 allows you to chat with your online contacts through its instant messaging capabilities especially if you are using Yahoo Messenger, AOL, or Windows Live.

The internet is also within reach with the Samsung A227. Aside from checking your e-mails on your Yahoo, AOL, or Windows Live account, you can also know the current weather reports, movie listings, and the recent team scores with just a click of a button. As for messaging, the Samsung A227 allows you to send SMS, MMS as well as EMS.

If not much in use, the Samsung A227 can last up to 380 minutes. However, if the device is mostly used to make voice calls, expect to charge your phone after 4 hours.

Unfortunately, the Samsung A227 does not have a built-in camera nor supports audio formats. This phone is just advisable for those who want to have a mobile phone that can access the internet at a cheap price. And since it does not support videos, still photos, and music on the go, the memory of the Samsung A227 is only 32 MB and can no longer be expanded.

Samsung T819 is a 3G slider with lots of multimedia and web browsing capabilities. It comes with a 1.3 MP camera, microSD storage and stereo Bluetooth. It has full support for instant messaging.

The cell phone will have only one color: coffee brown. Some other important features include T-Mobile’s My Faves (1.5) calling, A2DP, picture messaging, speakerphone and voice dialing.

It is the third 3G device to be added to T-Mobile’s future 3G line-up, the other two are the Nokia 6263 and Nokia 6267.

We don’t have any price info but hope that it will not be expensive as T-Mobile usually has lower prices and better customer services.

Samsung T819 will be available in January.

Samsung U550 is a basic flip phone with 1.3 MP digital camera, an MP3 player and Bluetooth. It has also Video service over EV-DO and VCAST Music.

Samsung U550 is for the US Verizon network and is considered to be the replace of the current Samsung U540. The pictures we get show that there are some appearance changes/upgrades.
