Samsung Beat DJ (M7600) makes it possible for every user to become a DJ. Samsung Beat Disc (Samsung M6710)
Samsung Beat Disc (M6710) is a good combination of touch-screen technology, incredible sound and beautiful design. It is an exciting phone that brings a host of features to the users. The phone has a “half touch’ display and it is only the lower portion of the phone that is touch-sensitive.

 

The display of the mobile is a 2.6″ 240 x 400 pixel panel that has 16 million colors. Some of the features of the mobile include stereo an FM radio, Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm audio socket, microSD expandable memory (16GB maximum), and stereo speakers. The device is primarily a music phone. It enables users to listen to music both with the help of wired as well as wireless headphones. The technology of the mobile has been provided by Bang & Olufsen Company that provides high quality sound.

 

At the back of the phone there is a 3 megapixel camera. Video recording is at 320 x 240 pixels at 15 frames per second. It is a 3.5G device that has a maximum download speed of 7.2 Mbps over HSDPA. The phone also provides support to quad-band GSM. The phone does not have any WiFi but the USB 2.0 HS connector makes it easy to transfer files.

 

The phone is slated to be released into the markets in the second quarter of 2009. There have however been no details about the pricing of the phone.

Samsung Blue Earth
Samsung Blue Earth is a solar energy powered touch screen mobile that is one of its kinds in the market. Through the introduction of the phone the company reinforces its commitment to save the environment through eco-friendly devices. The solar panel located at the back of the phone enables the users to charge the device with solar power and use it anytime anywhere.

 

The phone is made of recycled plastic known as PCM. The handset as well as the charger is free of harmful substances such as Beryllium, Brominated Flame Retardants, and Phthalate. This approach of the company comes across as better than the bioplastics that were used in Samsung E200 Eco.

 

The phone is available with a unique user interface that is specifically designed in order to draw attention to the preservation of the environment. One of the notable features of the phone is the advanced power management. This helps the user to easily decrease the brightness of the display as well as the power that is supplied to the Bluetooth radio. The mobile carries a software application known as “Eco Walk”.

 

The mobile has a 240 x 320 pixel display. It does not have a front facing video camera which means that the phone does not have 3G. This in turn would mean that the mobile has a long battery life. The casing of the mobile is made from recycled water bottles. The phone is expected to be in the markets this year.

Samsung Omnia HD (Samsung I8910)
The mobile is an improved version of Samsung Omnia i900 that hit the markets last year. It was received very well in the smartphone market. It is a Symbian S60 device and it has an operating system that is not similar to that of the original Omnia.

 

The device has a big display of 3.7″ 640 x 360 pixel. At the back of the phone is an eight megapixel camera that carries auto focus and LED flash. The phone also has smile and face detection and a “panorama shot” feature.

 

The phone has good video recording facilities. The phone’s capture resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels at 24 frames per second. There are video editing functions that the phone is enabled to function. There is a HD TV out cable that enables the files to be played back. The videos in the phone can be uploaded to websites or be transferred to a PC.

 

The mobile has good video playback facilities. The device is suitably equipped to play clips in a number of formats such as MPEG4, XviD, H.263, H.264, DivX, Windows Media and RealVideo formats. The phone has dual stereo speakers that help in audio playback. There are a host of audio enhancements also. These and the large display of the mobile make it a great media player as well.

 

The phone is a GPS receiver that carries a navigation application as well as a built-in compass. It carries other features as well including FM radio, 3D games, pod casting support and a proximity sensor. The phone has an internal memory of 8GB or 16GB.

 

The phone is a quad band GSM device with tri-band 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz UMTS. The phone is supposed to be in the markets in Q2, 2009.
