LG GM730 is the most recent addition to the easy-to-use smartphones series of the company that is to be launched. The company has signed a contract with Microsoft that allows them to be the first manufacturer of a mobile that has a new version of Windows Mobile 6.5.

It is a Windows smartphone and has the LG 3G S-Class interface. The device is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera that has Schneider Kreuznach optics. There is also WiFi, GPS support, 400 x 240 pixel resolution and 3.0″ touchscreen display in the mobile. The dimensions of the phone are 110 x 57 x 12mm.

The company hopes that the combination of the 3D S-Class User Interface and Windows Mobile will make the phone one of the easiest and the most functional smartphones in the market. The company has also promised to launch many more smartphones this year and most of them will have the same formula as this.

The phone is built around a 3D cube layout and makes available four home screens. With just a flick of the finger the user will be able to turn the cube from one side to another. The S-Class Use Interface does away with nested menus and provides direct access to applications and features wherever possible.

The email has been made simpler in that it needs just one click and the Internet Explorer 6.0 improves the web experience. The company will announce more specifications of the mobile soon and it is expected that the product will be released into the market in the first quarter of 2009.

LG CF360 is a stylish and elegant 3G entertainment phone. The phone has a wide 2 inch QVGA screen. The built-in MP3 players allow them to listen to the favorite songs in the play list. The bluetooth wireless technology enables the user to talk hands free with the family and friends. The phone is equipped with AT&T Navigator that provides maps, driving directions, and real-time traffic alerts. There is also autonomous GPS that provides enhanced location accuracy. The 1.3 megapixel camera allows the users to take photos and videos and then share it with their family and friends. The camera comes with landscape viewfinder usage that gives a feel similar to standalone cameras. The phones also allow the users to use instant messaging and mobile email to be in touch with their family and friends. The phone has Expandable microSD memory port that has 8GB support. There is also USB Mass storage that helps to transfer files between PC and phone. The battery supports 5.6 hours of talk time and up to 10.5 hours of standby time. The mobile measures 101.6×48.3×17.8 mm and weighs 99.2 grams.

LG VX8360 combines clamshell design with user-friendly features. There is a wide array of features in the phone including 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth wireless technology, and video recording capabilities. The built-in music player comprises dual speakers that produce stereo sound. It is a phone for the music lovers. The users can download V CAST music with Rhapsody. The music player can handle a number of formats including MP3, AAC & AAC+, WMA formats. There is also a microSD memory slot that provides extra storage to enable users to store tracks.

The mobile has a 2 inch TFT internal display with 240 x 320 pixels as well as 262K colors. There is a 1.17 inch TFT external display with 96 x 96 pixels as well as 65K colors. The mobile comes with high speed EVDO connectivity. There is also the VZ Navigator and Dashboard with Mobile Web. The users are also allowed to sync music from PC to phone. There are facilities for Mobile Web Email, Mobile Email, Mobile IM & Chat that is provided. The phone also offers 316 minutes of talk time and around 641 hours of standby time.
