Nokia 5330 XpressMusic
Nokia 5330 XpressMusic brings together an interesting blend of straight less and curves. The phone has a 2.4″ display that has shiny plastics on it and there is a numeric keypad slide-out in the phone.

 

It is a music phone that supports WCDMA 850/1700/1900/2100 and EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 EGSM. Together with music the phone also provides easy access to a host of online sites such as Facebook, Ovi, and MySpace. The mobile also provides easy access to music with the help of dedicated music keys that are on the side of the phone. The phone can store up to 3000 songs. The talk time in GSM mobile is 7 hours with 16 days standby time and it is 5 hours in 3G with 16 days standby time.

 

The dimensions of the phone when closed are 101 x 48 x 14mm. The phone has a tri-band UMTS (but no HSDPA). There is GPS with Nokia Maps. The phone is equipped with a multimedia player. There is also a 3.5mm audio socket, FM radio and stereo Bluetooth. The phone includes a 2 GB memory card in the sales package.

 

With so many features it is truly a multi-functional phone. The mobile is expected to be priced at Euro 160 before taxes and subsidies. This makes it an affordably priced mobile. The phone is expected to be in the market in the third quarter of 2009. It will be available in two color combinations of silver/blue and red/black.

Samsung Beat Disc (Samsung M6710)
Samsung Beat Disc (M6710) is a good combination of touch-screen technology, incredible sound and beautiful design. It is an exciting phone that brings a host of features to the users. The phone has a “half touch’ display and it is only the lower portion of the phone that is touch-sensitive.

 

The display of the mobile is a 2.6″ 240 x 400 pixel panel that has 16 million colors. Some of the features of the mobile include stereo an FM radio, Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm audio socket, microSD expandable memory (16GB maximum), and stereo speakers. The device is primarily a music phone. It enables users to listen to music both with the help of wired as well as wireless headphones. The technology of the mobile has been provided by Bang & Olufsen Company that provides high quality sound.

 

At the back of the phone there is a 3 megapixel camera. Video recording is at 320 x 240 pixels at 15 frames per second. It is a 3.5G device that has a maximum download speed of 7.2 Mbps over HSDPA. The phone also provides support to quad-band GSM. The phone does not have any WiFi but the USB 2.0 HS connector makes it easy to transfer files.

 

The phone is slated to be released into the markets in the second quarter of 2009. There have however been no details about the pricing of the phone.

Nokia 6710 Navigator is the latest addition to the Navigator series of the company. It is an impressive upgrade of the Nokia 6210. This device has a larger screen better camera and battery life. It comes with a 2.6″ 240 x 320 pixel display and can be optimized for outdoors use. The phone has a light sensor that enables the user to adjust the display brightness in accordance with the environment. The phone has an improved mapping and navigation solution.

 

The navigation of the phone will be integrated with Ovi Store that brings about good synchronization between the PC and the phone. The navigation system is useful for motorists as well as pedestrians. Some of the other features that are present in the mobile include satellite images, areas of interest, real-time traffic and an array of other features. The phone comes with a voice guidance that helps the users while navigation.

 

The mobile phone has WiFi as well as 3.5G support. At the back of the phone is a 5 megapixel camera that has Carl Zeiss lens and LED flash. It is a quad band GSM device that provides support to tri-band UMTS. There is also an FM radio and 3.5mm audio socket in the mobile. The consumers will be able to purchase the phone in titanium as well as brown. Regional maps are preloaded in the mobile which helps the device to be used for personal navigation and without a SIM card. The phone’s sales package also carries CR-111 car holder which allows the phone to be kept safely inside a vehicle.

The phone is available with a unique user interface that is specifically designed in order to draw attention to the preservation of the environment.
